this is an experience, to balance a photo right against the sun (a 16 NDG Filter was used), i like it because it gives that notion of blindness, so i didn't wait for the sun to go down, tell me what it feels for you!

Beautiful. The rocks in the foreground are well exposed while the highlights of the sun seem not to be clipped too much. What confuses me a bit, how can a ND filter help to master this large contrast range? To my understanding the contrast range the camera can handle will not be changed by the ND filter.

this is pretty nice, however, the light is unbalanced.

this is beautiful ND filter work - almost looks like HDR you got such a great exposure -- oh, how i need to work on my sunsets!!!
