blinding forcePosted by pedro alexandre (loures, Portugal) on 19 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. this is an experience, to balance a photo right against the sun (a 16 NDG Filter was used), i like it because it gives that notion of blindness, so i didn't wait for the sun to go down, tell me what it feels for you! the race is on again! so take time to vote, click on the candidate!! my selection for the month click on the coolphotoblog link and give some coolpoints!! every week is a new week, don't forget!! thanks!!!

tom from GermanyBeautiful. The rocks in the foreground are well exposed while the highlights of the sun seem not to be clipped too much. What confuses me a bit, how can a ND filter help to master this large contrast range? To my understanding the contrast range the camera can handle will not be changed by the ND filter. 19 Feb 2008 6:06am @tom: tom, check this tecnic is the double exposure http://olhares.aeiou.pt/tecnica_dupla_exposicao/foto1612803.html, sorry its in portuguese but i think you can understand Daniel from Stranded in Kenmare, United Statesthis is pretty nice, however, the light is unbalanced. 19 Feb 2008 6:16am lidia from Barcelona, SpainInteresting your experience.
