another saxicola torquata (european stonechat) and a male, you can tel by the black throat, these fellows are prety common you can find them anywhere

now lets talk about gear (i don't usualy do but if you think on buying this lense), this is where the canon 100-400 gets really sharp, 1/600 or 1/300 slower speeds its just dificult to get good pictures even with the IS on, you can try a tripod but these birds are very active, so a tip to all the canon 100-400 users, the light must be perfect if the speed isn't there (1/400 1/300 or so) just up the ISO, cheers.
